University of the Visayas – Toledo City Campus (UVTCC) is a private university in the province of
Cebu and is under the
University of the Visayas (UV) system. UV was established in 1919 as the Visayan Institue (VI) and had its first campus along Colon Street in Cebu City. Now, the university system as nine satellite campuses serving the residents of the Central Visayas province.
UV Toledo City Campus currently offers undergraduate programs under three college units:
Education, Computer Studies, and
Business Administration. Additionally, the campus provides the extended basic education program; it has a Senior High School (SHS) department with selected strands under the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks.
As part of the University of the Visayas system, the Toledo City Campus and its programs are duly acknowledged by the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED) and the Department of Education
(DepEd).
