Western Leyte College of Ormoc  

Western Leyte College (WLC) of Ormoc is a private, non-sectarian higher educational institution in Leyte. It was founded in 1945 as the Ormoc High School, although next year, the institution became the Western Leyte College and began offering tertiary courses. The college targets the underprivileged youth and provides them with an education that would develop them to be competent both locally and globally and to be committed, value-laden leaders in the community.

WLC currently offers undergraduate, graduate, and technical-vocational courses from seven different departments: School of Law, College of Education, College of Hospitality Management, School of ICT and Engineering, College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, College of Accountancy, and College of Business. The college also has a Senior High School (SHS) department offering ABM, HUMSS, STEM, HE, and ICT.
