  • Admission Requirements

    Undergraduate Programs

    • Applicants must be graduates (or expected graduates) of high school or have an equivalent educational background.
    • Upon meeting any of the standards below, the student will be allowed to enter CAU or start taking a degree program at CAU in the coming semester.
      • Submit a Certificate of TOPIK level 4 or higher(TOPIK level 3 or higher for Design department/ Global School of Arts)
      • Pass the CAU KPT(Korean Proficiency Test)
      • Complete the level-5 (or higher) Korean Language Course at the CAU Institute of International Education(level-4 or higher for the Design department/Global School of Arts)
    • English requirement for applicants to apply for the English Track Minimum of: TOEFL 530(CBT 197, iBT 71) or IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 850 or TEPS 600 (Applicants from countries where English is used as the official language or mother tongue are exempt from this requirement)

    • Letter of consent and letter of request
    • High school academic transcript
    • Legal, state-issued certificate of family registry or nationality that verifies applicant's family relationship
    • Copy of national ID card (parents, applicant)
    • Copy of passport (applicant)
    • Copy of applicant's alien registration card (front and back)
    • Certificate of bank deposits of over USD 20,000 under the account of the applicant or sponsor (parents)
    • Certificate of family register and certificateof renunciation of nationality issued by the Korean government (For those who have acquired Foreign nationality after renouncing Korean nationality)
    • Certificate of Foreign Nationality Acquisition 
    • Certificate of Foreign Nationality Acquisition (For those who have acquired Foreign nationality after renouncing Korean nationality)
