McMaster University is a public educational institution in Canada that was founded in 1887 through bequest from Senator William McMaster. It was initially located in Toronto but was relocated to Hamilton in 1930.
The university has six main academic divisions and offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in the fields of engineering, health sciences, humanities, science, social sciences and business.
