What does Newcastle University stand for?


Newcastle University is a public educational institution in the United Kingdom. It traces its origins back to the School of Medicine and Surgery (1834), and Armstrong College (1871). In 1937, these two schools merged to form King's College and became the University of Newcastle in 1963.

The University offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs through its three faculties: Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Faculty of Science, Agriculture, and Engineering. It also extends its offerings through its campuses in London, Malaysia, and Singapore
