A great opportunity for our agents and partners in Brisbane to meet our CEO Mr Philip Kilic & Director of International Partnerships Ms Marie Bennett to discuss the following agenda;
Whats new at Pacific Training Group (PTG)
Fine Food Australia 2019 is one of the most important fairs of its kind in Australia, featuring over 1000 exhibitors and thousands of brands covering General & specialty food, catering equipment, front of house, bakery, drinks, coffee, tea, dairy, meat & seafood, retail & technology, fit-out & design, packaging and much more!
Exhibitors attend the trade fair from Australia and abroad to present their latest and greatest products for the industry. Our students took the opportunity to meet visitors who are both buyers and key decision makers from the retail, food service and hospitality sectors.
This was an excellent opportunity to inform themselves about the new trends in the markets and the industry.
R U OK Day aims to raise awareness about depression and suicide by encouraging everyone to ask their friends and family “R U OK?”.
Just this simple act can help people to realise that they are not alone and there are many others going through similar issues. Most importantly, it reminds us that it is okay to talk about it. By discussing these issues, we hope that the rate of depression and suicide is reduced and we are able to build a community that supports each other through the hard times.
Pacific Training Group on the Gold Coast decided to host a free BBQ for all students to not only encourage conversation about these topics, but to strengthen the social connection between our International Students.
This was a very meaningful end to the term and we now go forth with our pledge to recognise the signs that someone needs to help and to ask them – R U OK?
Whether you are looking for casual work or a long-term career, the hospitality industry offers a world of employment opportunities and a fast-paced, service-oriented vibe that you will love.
The hospitality workshop will help students develop industry experience for delivering the highest standards of guest service and presentation.
ATCC National Symposium 2019 was attended by our students and staff. Held at Parliament House Sydney on the 3rd and 4th of September, this unique engagement event is planned specifically for industry, educators and policy makers to meet, learn and network at the highest levels.
Supported by a very high calibre of industry and educator presenters who have shown their support to encourage skills and career development for the Travel industry.
National Skills Week is a time to highlight the myriad of skills and qualifications that can be achieved through a vocational education pathway, and acknowledges the sector’s valuable contribution to Australian lives and businesses.
National skills week was hosted at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Pacific training group students supported this wonderful event, representing the college whilest gaining valuable skills and knowledge.
Our Director of international partnerships, Marie Bennett, organised a Pizza Party for students to discuss how we can continue to improve the student experience at Pacific Training Group.
Student experience is one of our key drivers at Pacific Training Group, getting this right ensures students are happy and successfully progressing through their course.
