  • Does this mean I will spend two more years in High School?

    Yes. But these two additional years will equip you with skills that will better prepare you for the future, whether it be; Kolehiyo, Trabaho or Negosyo!

  • Applicants to the SMU MiM programme must possess:

    • Good undergraduate degree.
    •  A good score in GMAT or SMU Admissions Test
    •  TOEFL/ IELTS is required if the medium of instruction of your undergraduate studies was not in English. It must be taken within the last 2 years at the time of submitting your application.
    •  2 reference letters.

    Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview and/ or written tests by the Admissions Committee to ensure the candidates possess the intellectual capabilities and motivation to succeed in the programme.

  • Applicants to the SMU EMBA programme must possess:

    Applicants to the SMU EMBA Programme should be at least 30 years of age, have taken the GMAT or SMU Admission Test and must possess:

    •  A Bachelor's degree in any undergraduate field from a reputable institution or an equivalent professional qualification (*candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree but who possess notable career achievement will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis)
    •  Recognised achievements
    •  At least 10 years of extensive work experience

    Evaluation criteria
    The SMU EMBA Programme seeks global senior executives and managers who demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities and intellectual acuity, with the potential of attaining or are already assuming positions in the upper echelons of businesses / organisations.
    • Exceptional leadership and proven professional experience
      The SMU EMBA Programme is designed with the global senior leader in mind. Our graduates are well-equipped to apply global perspectives to lead their businesses in Asia. Each of our participants has at least 10 years of working experience and is currently in a middle to senior level of his / her organisation.
       
    • Intellectual acuity 
      The SMU EMBA’s curriculum is rigorous and you will need to demonstrate the intellectual acuity to handle the requirements of the Programme. To this end, the GMAT or SMU Admission Test serves as one of our bases for determining entry into our Programme.

  • Applicants to the SMU MWM programme must possess:

    • An undergraduate bachelor's degree (in any field)
    • At least 2 years of working experience in any industry (post-Bachelor’s degree)
    • A good GMAT/GRE Score (GMAT institution code F8D-7V-97)
    • A good TOEFL/IELTS score is required if your degree was not taught in English

    Admissions interviews will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.

  • Applicants to the SMU MQF programme must possess:

    • An undergraduate bachelor's degree (in any field)
    • A good GMAT/GRE Score (GMAT institution code F8D-7V-97)
    • SMU track - A good TOEFL/IELTS score is required if your degree was not taught in English
    • International track - A good IELTS score is required for all applicants choosing this track

  • Applicants to the SMU MAF programme must possess:

    • A good university degree 
    • A good GMAT or GRE score 
    • IELTS or TOEFL (required if the medium of instruction of your undergraduate studies was not English)
    • At least two years working experience (For Part-Time Track Only)

    The MAF programme is open to all Singaporeans, Singapore permanent residents and foreigners. Foreigners who are interested to apply for the Part-Time track must hold a valid Employment Pass (EP) or Dependant's Pass (DP). Student visas will not be issued to international students taking the MAF Part-Time track.

  • Applicants to the SMU MHCL programme must possess:

    • Bachelor's degree (in any field)
    • 3 years of relevant work experience (post Bachelor's degree)
    • A good score in the SMU Admission Test or GMAT/GRE 
    • A good TOEFL/IELTS score is required if your degree was not taught in English

    The MHCL programme is a part-time programme and is open to all Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents. It is also open to international students who hold a valid Employment Pass (EP) or Dependant's Pass (DP), and do not require a student visa.

  • Applicants to the SMU MCM programme must possess:

    • A good bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any field of study
    • A good score in the SMU Admission Test or GMAT/GRE 
    • At least 3 years of work experience (post Bachelor's degree) 
    • Fully proficient in English

    The MCM programme is a part-time programme and is open to all Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents. It is also open to international students who hold a valid Employment Pass (EP) or Dependant's Pass (DP), and do not require a student visa.

  • Applicants to the SMU MI programme must possess:

    • A good TOEFL/IELTS score is required if your degree was not taught in English

    The MI programme is a part-time programme and is open to all Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents. It is also open to international students who hold a valid Employment Pass (EP) or Dependant's Pass (DP), and do not require a student visa.

  • Applicants to the SMU IE-SMU MBA programme must possess:

    Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience

    • Solid academic record
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited undergraduate university
    • A completed application form

    ADMISSION PROCESS
    1. Online Application
      The admissions process starts upon the submission of an online application along with the relevant supporting documents. This application provides the Admissions Committee with an important foundation for evaluating candidates. It is therefore essential that you use this opportunity to present sufficient information, including examples that you think demonstrates how you would be a unique addition to the programme.​​​​​

    2. Interview
      The interview examines the information provided in the application in greater detail and evaluates whether your profile will meet the demands of the programme and add value within the class discussion and group work. The interview can be conducted face-to-face in the IE or SMU campus, in your country of residence during overseas coffee sessions, or via Skype.
       
    3. Admissions Decision
      Following the interview and after a review of your entire application, the Admissions Committee will make its final decision based on the evaluation of your candidature as a whole. The decision will be based on all the various aspects of your profile, as well as how your profile aligns with the core values of IE-SMU and learning environment.

  • Applicants to the SMU MBA programme must possess:

    • A good Bachelor's degree in any undergraduate field from a reputable institution
    • A minimum post-degree work experience of 2 years
    • A good GMAT or GRE score (try a GMAT mini quiz)
    • Strong interpersonal skills and international outlook, and the ability to work in diverse groups
    • Any outstanding professional accomplishments, leadership experience and potential, academic aptitude, and community impact would be an added advantage.

    The SMU MBA programme seeks candidates who demonstrate intellectual prowess and leadership capabilities, are committed to learn, and who have the personal qualities to contribute to the SMU MBA experience and greater community.
    • Outstanding Leadership and Professional Experience
      With a particular emphasis on professional accomplishments and demonstrated leadership potential, the SMU MBA programme seeks to groom candidates to lead organisations after they graduate from the programme. Our programme has a strict minimum work experience requirement of 2 years and our participants have an average of 5 to 6 years of working experience. While younger candidates can apply, they must demonstrate outstanding leadership potential and maturity through their professional and personal experiences.
       
    • Strong Academic Aptitude
      Given the rigour of the SMU MBA curriculum, our candidates will need to demonstrate strong academic credentials, as evidenced by their past academic performance. The GMAT is our basis for comparison of applicants from diverse national, educational and professional backgrounds. While the SMU MBA programme has no minimum GMAT score, candidates who register higher than average scores in the verbal, quantitative and writing sections will be considered to be more competitive. TOEFL or IELTS scores will be required for candidates whose undergraduate or graduate degrees were not taught in English.
