The Bachelor of Arts in Economics and the Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honors*) are 4-year courses designed to provide a strong foundation in theory and a discipline in quantitative methods to understand the operations of the modern economy, the processes of economic growth and development, and the dynamics of global integration. The courses are rigorous but practical enough to allow applied analysis. Students culminate their studies by writing a thesis during their senior year wherein they apply concepts and techniques in economics.
