University of Calgary (UCalgary) is a public university in
Canada that was founded in 1966. It has five campuses in total: Calgary (main campus), Foothills, Downtown campus, Spy Hill campus, and Doha, Qatar campus.
UCalgary has 14 schools and faculties that offer
undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in the fields of education, engineering, business, medicine, science, law, sports, arts, and social work.
UCalgary strives to be one of the top universities in the world by using a strategy called "Eyes High". in which research and innovative teaching go hand in hand, and the university fully engages the communities it serves and leads. This strategy is inspired by the University's motto, "I will lift up my eyes".

- Sports teams are called Dinos.
- One of its traditions, the ‘Bermuda Shorts Day’ (BSD), is an annual event in April that marks the last day of classes. Students wear shorts on this day and the event includes bands and barbecues.
