University of Waikato is an educational institution in
New Zealand that was founded in 1964. It has campuses in Hamilton and Tauranga and another campus in China (New Zealand University of Waikato Institute).
Waikato University offers
undergraduate and postgraduate programs through its eight faculties: Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Health, Sport and Human Performance, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies, Faculty of Science and Engineering, and Waikato Management School. It also offers
university preparation courses and English language programmes through the Waikato Pathways College.
