About the Scholarship

A scholarship grant endowed by Far Eastern University-Manila (FEU) alumnus and San Miguel President Ramon Ang. The scholarship aims to fund at least 300 talented yet underprivileged students to finish a four-year degree program.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled or is qualified to enroll as FRESHMAN and a regular student under the following programs: Accountancy, Architecture, Education, Medical Technology, Nursing, Psychology
No failing grade in all the subjects enrolled in and maintains a Grade Weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 82% or its equivalent
Must not be enjoying any other scholarship program or financial assistance/benefit from other entities
Must be physically and mentally fit and in a completely healthy and capable condition to attend and finish his/her chosen course
Must have good moral character and has not been expelled from, or have any existing case or derogatory record with, any school/educational institution that he/she has attended and has not been convicted or charged of any crime before judicial courts
Must have no or insufficient means of financing one’s own studies
Must be a Filipino citizen and resident of the Philippines
Must have at least an “Average” intellectual ability to know his/her capacity and potentials in pursuing and completing his/her studies
Results of the Purdue Non-Language Test (PNLT)or other tests subject to the discretion of the External Grantor
Must possess the right character and attitude of a Scholar assessed through the interview conducted by the Corporate Social Responsibility representative of the External Grantor/ Far Eastern University or another representative subject to the discretion designated by the External Grantor
Must have a favorable background check to validate his family background, personality, behavior, and other relevant information
Must not be currently employed with businesses that directly compete with the External Grantor, (“SMC”), or any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, or other companies owned or controlled by any of them

Documentary Requirements

Far Eastern University College Admission Test (FEUCAT) result for incoming freshmen
Course curriculum
Barangay Clearance
NBI/Police Clearance
Basic personal information
Certificate of Registration (if enrolled or qualified to enroll as a regular student or freshman)
Photocopy of Final Report Card
Medical certificate with the attending physician's license number
Certificate of good moral character issued by the most recent school attended
Income Tax Return (ITR) filed with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) or “BIR Certification for Tax-Exempt” and “Affidavit for Non-Filing of Income Tax” of parent/s or guardian/s, as the case may be
Birth Certificate certified by the Philippine Statistics Authority
Barangay Clearance and a sketch of residence
Short essay
Recommendation letter from any of his/her guidance counselor, family friend, neighbor, class adviser or professor
Duly accomplished application form
