Empower Your Sari-Sari Store: A Modular Learning Program for Micro-Entrepreneurs is a collaborative project between Perfetti Van Melle (PVM) and Edukasyon

.ph designed to upskill micro-entrepreneurs who own or plan to open a sari-sari store. The primary objective is to equip these owners with the essential knowledge and skills needed for efficient daily operations, financial management, and long-term business sustainability.

The program is a self-paced, modular learning resource, specifically structured for flexible and offline consumption. It moves beyond simple instruction by integrating actionable tasks, interactive worksheets, and self-reflection prompts to ensure practical application of the concepts.

The curriculum is divided into seven core chapters that cover the full spectrum of micro-enterprise management: from Laying the Foundation and Budgeting for Your Store to advanced topics like Smart Stocking — Managing Inventory and Pricing Strategies for Profitability. It also addresses critical areas such as Managing Loans and Extending Credit, Legal and Regulatory Basics, and strategies for Sustaining and Growing Your Business through expansion and technology adoption.

The project produced a pocket-sized handbook titled “I-Level-Up Ang Negosyo: Guidebook Para Sa Mga Sari-Sari Store Owners.” This was distributed and given for free to different sari-sari store owners.
