About the Scholarship

Tulong Dunong (TD) - this scholarship is intended for graduating high school students. 
  • For graduating high school students with at least 80% GWA on 3rd year and 80% GWA on the first three grading periods during the 4th year.
  • Must be enrolled public or private HEIs
This program can be availed by students belonging to the following: persons with disabilities (PWDs), solo parents, and their dependents, members of a cultural minority, members of the hill tribe, and senior citizens if qualified.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Filipino citizen of good moral character
  • High school graduate or a candidate for graduation
  • Combined annual gross income of parents/guardian not exceeding Php 300, 000
    • For those who are exempted from filing income tax, provide Certificate of Tax Exemption from the BIR
    • For OFW and Seafarers - a latest copy of contract or proof of income
  • Must not be a recipient of any government scholarship and financial assistance

Documentary Requirements
  • Accomplished StuFAPs Application OSS Form 01
  • Duly certified High School Report Card for third year and grades for the first three grading periods for the fourth year
  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR), Certificate of Tax Exemption or Copy of Contract or proof of income of parents/ guardian from the BIR
  • Certificate of good moral character from the high school principal/ guidance counselor

Scholarship Maintainance
  • Enroll in duly recognized HEIs in identified priority programs
  • Maintain a GWA of 2.5, B, or 80% for scholars and passing grade for grantees
  • Carry full a semester load and finish within the normal duration of the course or curricular program
  • Transfer only in duly recognized HEIs and in identified priority programs upon approval of concerned CHEDRO
  • Allow deferring enrollment during the semester for meritorious reasons for not more than one AY in the whole duration of the academic program;
  • Shall render rat least 2 years return service within the Philippines after graduation for Full Merit scholars and 1 year for Half Merit scholars.
