Bohol Island State University – Candijay (BISU – Candijay) is a public university campus located in the municipality of
Candijay, Bohol. Formerly known as the Bohol School of Fisheries (BSF), the school later became part of the Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology (CVSCAFT) system, which is presently known as the
Bohol Island State University.
BISU – Candijay Campus offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in
Fisheries, Marine Biology, Education, Tourism, Computer Science, Environmental Resource Management, and
Hotel and Restaurant Services. Aside from undergraduate and graduate programs, the university also accepts
senior high school students. Strands under the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track are taught to them.
Throughout the years, BISU – Candijay has been continuing to provide young Boholanos with quality instruction and training which could help them develop into productive and effective individuals who can contribute to national development, especially in
agriculture and fisheries.
