Busan Institute of Science and Technology is a private higher education institution in Buk District, Busan, South Korea. The school was founded in 1977 as the Sungji Technical College and provided Mechanical Design, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Telecommunication courses to 800 students. The institution was renamed several times until it was changed to its present name in 2012.
BIST offers a number of courses in engineering, humanities and social sciences, natural science, and arts and physical education. Aside from these courses, Busan Institute of Science and Technology also has international exchange activities and overseas education programs.
Throughout the years, BIST continues to cultivate a new generation of professionals who are equipped with the right knowledge and skills to compete with the modern world.
