The Kalinga State University (KSU), formerly known as the Kalinga-Apayao State College (KASC), is a public educational institution established in the 1970s as the Kalinga Community College of Trade and Industries (KCCTI). By 2015, KASC achieved university status and was officially renamed as Kalinga State University. At present, the school has a total of three campuses in the province of Kalinga, and its main campus is in Bulanao, Tabuk City.
KSU offers undergraduate and graduate programs related to Agriculture, Education, Law, Business, Accountancy, Engineering, Information Technology, and Liberal Arts. In addition to tertiary level courses, the school also has a comprehensive K-12 program offering Academic strands. Other offerings include two-year courses in Automotive and Electrical Technology.
The Kalinga State University is duly recognized by major educational agencies in the country such as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities (AACCUP), and the Department of Education (DepEd).
