St. Vincent's College Incorporated (SVCI) is a private, Catholic school in
Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte. It was founded in 1917 as the
Dipolog Parochial School with
Jesuits as administrators. A seventh grade was added in 1938; and, after a few years, a high school department was established, renaming the school to
Saint Vincent's School. It was also around this time that the school opened for girls. In 1947, Saint Vincent began offering college courses, and by 1950 it earned its college status. As years passed, more and more programs were offered, including graduate programs.
At present, SVCI provides educational programs from the pre-school to the post-graduate level. Undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate courses fall under three colleges: Business Education; Arts, Sciences, and Education; and, Criminology. There are various fields covered by these colleges, namely
Business and Accountancy, Computer Studies, Engineering, International Hospitality Management, Teacher Education. Liberal Arts, and
Criminology. For the Senior High School department, the Academic track is provided, particularly the
ABM, GAS, HUMSS, and
STEM strands. In addition to these programs, St. Vincent's College also has
TVET courses available for those who want to earn their
National Certificate (NC). Some of these courses are Bartending, Computer Systems Servicing, Health Care Services, and Housekeeping.
