University of the Visayas – Danao City Campus is a private university in
Cebu and is one of the campuses under the
University of the Visayas (UV) system. UV started in 1919 as the Visayan Institute, and the university system currently has nine satellite campuses across the province.
UV Danao City Campus provides both basic education and higher education programs. The basic education department includes a Senior High School (SHS) program that has curricula for the
GAS, ICT, and
HE strands. The college department, on the other hand, offers undergraduate courses in
Teacher Education, Business Administration and
Information Technology. These programs are duly acknowledged by the Department of Education
(DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED).
