University of the Visayas – Mandaue Campus is one of the nine satellite campuses of the
University of the Visayas (UV) in
Cebu. The university system started out in 1919 as the Visayan Institute (VI). UV has its main campus along Colon Street in Cebu City and as a system provides programs in various fields like Medicine, Engineering, Education, and Humanities.
UV Mandaue Campus currently offers programs from Kindergarten to College. Its basic education department includes a Senior High School (SHS) program with curricula in the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. For college students, those who are interested in taking up Elementary Education or Secondary Education can earn their bachelor's degrees in the institution. As part of the University of the Visayas system, the Mandaue Campus and its programs, are duly recognized by the Department of Education
(DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED).
