Abada College is a private school in
Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. Founded in 1950, the school is committed to providing education that is both relevant and responsive. Abada College prides itself of its unique programs, like
violin classes, foreign language classes, and archery classes. The school even holds
phantom classes where students take part in activities outside the usual classroom set-up with lectures and tests. With these programs come the appropriate facilities to maximize learning for students; the college has libraries, science laboratories, classrooms with TV sets, and the Abada College Recreational Escape (ACRE), a gymnasium that includes a swimming pool.
Abada College currently provides basic education and higher education programs. The basic education department has a Senior High School (SHS) unit offering selected strands from the
Academic and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. The college department, on the other hand, has available bachelor's degree courses in
Criminology, Information Technology, Business Administration, and
Teacher Education. The school and its programs are duly recognized by the Department of Education
(DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education
(CHED).
