Asia Pacific College

The Asia Pacific College (APC) is a private higher education institution founded in 1991 by IBM Philippines, the country’s first Information Technology (IT) supplier and SM (Shoemart) Foundation to meet the growing demand of the IT Industry for competent professionals.

APC offers relevant learning experiences for its students and professionals who want to level up their careers. The institution offers courses on IT, engineering, management, and multimedia arts. APC is open as well to Senior High School (SHS) students who wish to take the Academic Track under the following strands: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM), and the General Academic Strand (GAS).

On May 9, 2017, the Commission for Higher Education (CHEd) granted APC its Autonomous status, giving it the freedom to develop programs that will cater to the changing demands of society. Its Accountancy and Computer Engineering programs are PAASCU Level I accredited. While its Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Administration programs received the PAASCU Level II accreditation in 2015. APC is also hailed as a Center of Development in Computer Engineering. With the constant growth of the IT industry and the rising standards for trained professionals, APC continues to mold employment-ready graduates that can rise in a globally competitive world.
