Bohol Island State University – Clarin (BISU - Clarin) is a public university located in
Clarin, Bohol, and is one of the campuses part of the
Bohol Island State University (BISU) system. The campus traces back its roots as a school of fisheries that offers vocational secondary program under the supervision of Bureau of Vocational Education in 1962.
Currently, the Clarin campus has seven (7) academic programs with diploma, undergraduate, and graduate degrees. Courses in
Technology and Allied Sciences and
Teacher Education make up its undergraduate and diploma studies, while its graduate study program provides a graduate study in
Education with a
major in Education Management. These academic programs offered in Clarin campus are duly recognized and accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
