What does Mountain View College stand for?

Mountain View College (MVC) is a private educational institution in Valencia City, Bukidnon. It first operated in 1953 and is managed by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Aside from this main campus, MVC also has an annex in Barangay Bagontaas, also in Valencia. The college started with 55 students in its first year and now has grown to have more than 2,000 enrollees.

MVC is a K-12-ready institution. Its Senior High School program offers the Academic, Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL), Arts and Design, and Sports tracks. In addition to basic education programs, the school also provides tertiary level programs in six departments: Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Computing, Business and Accountancy, Nursing, Medical Technology, and Education.

As one of the premier educational institutions in Mindanao, MVC is committed to transforming its students into competent graduates with the academic excellence and skills essential for the improvement of the community.

  • The main college in Bukidnon occupies 1,024 hectares of a 2,500-foot plateau located in Mt. Nebo, adjacent to Kitanglad and Kalatungan mountain ranges. 
  • MVC's location provides it an advantageous amount of water, that the campus has its own hydroelectric plants for both water and electric supply.
