Riverside College, Inc. (RCI) is a private, Catholic higher educational institution in
Bacolod City. It was founded by Dr. Pablo Obrego Torre, Sr., who also established the
Riverside General Hospital (became Riverside Medical Center in 1972 and is now
Dr. Pablo O. Torre, Sr. Memorial Hospital). The college started with the School of Midwifery and the School of Nursing as a response to the need for competent staff in the hospital.
Specializing in paramedical and healthcare courses, the college has degree programs in
Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Pharmacy, and
Nursing. Also available are courses in
Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and
Psychology. RCI also has a Senior High School (SHS) department offering strands under the
Academic Track and the
Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track.
