South Philippine Adventist College (formerly Southern Mindanao Academy) is a private educational institution in
Davao del Sur. It started out as an elementary school in the city of
Digos in 1950. It became a Junior Academy in 1952, and its secondary high school program was officially recognized in 1958, the same year it was relocated to Matanao. In 1993, processing for the academy to be the
second Adventist college in Mindanao began. After a year, the school, now SPAC, was officially recognized by CHED and approved to provide collegiate courses.
Currently, the college offers undergraduate programs in the areas of
Theology, Teacher Education, Business Administration, Accountancy, and
Nursing. SPAC is also a Senior High-ready institution, providing interested students with the
STEM, ABM, GAS, and
HUMSS from the
Academic track.
