Southern Leyte State University - Hinunangan (SLSU - Hinunangan) is a public external campus operating under the
Southern Leyte State University. Began as an agricultural and vocational school in 1975, the campus was eventually converted into a tertiary school, This conversion led to the integration of the campus to the university system by the virtue of
RA 9261.
Currently, the campus operates as the
College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences of the university with various undergraduate programs in its roster. This includes undergraduate degrees in
Agriculture, Agribusiness, and
Secondary Education. Moreover, the programs and the university itself is duly recognized by the Commission of Higher Education (CHED).
