University of Antique (UA) is a state university in Antique founded in 1954. The school was originally established as the Antique School of Arts and Trades (ASAT) under the Republic Act 857. By 1982, ASAT was converted into Polytechnic State College of Antique (PSCA), then became the University of Antique in 2009. Now, the university is composed of two satellite campuses located in
Tibiao and
Hamtic.
Currently, the university offers courses across various disciplines such as
technology, maritime studies, teacher education, computer studies, engineering, architecture, business, and
arts and sciences. In addition to these tertiary programs, the UA also has secondary programs recognized by the
Department of Education (DepEd). It has a Laboratory High School as well as a
Senior High School (SHS) Department offering
