University of Cebu – Main Campus  

University of Cebu (UC) was founded in 1964 by Atty. Augusto W. Go. It was initially established as the Cebu College of Commerce (CCC). It was then named as the Cebu Central Colleges years later, until it received its present university status in 1992. UC has four campuses, namely UC Main, UC Lapu Lapu and Mandaue, UC Mambaling, and UC Banilad.

It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Business and Accountancy, Computer Studies, Office Administration, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Education, Law, Maritime Studies, Tourism, Arts and Sciences, and Medicine. As the institution believes in the impact of early education for students, UC also caters basic programs for Nursery, Kindergarten, and Junior and Senior High School.

Guided by its core values, it is the vision of the University of Cebu to “democratize quality education, to be the visionary and industry leader, and to give hope and transform lives”. It also aims to provide affordable and quality education that is responsive to the demands of local and international communities.
