This program seeks to produce graduates with a thorough understanding of the application of the communication process and literary art including creative writing, research, oral and other forms of prescriptive grammar. It deals with interpreting literature in contexts provided by sociology, anthropology, psychology, history, and folklore in terms marked by class, gender, race and power. The 30 units in literature will inculcate in their character, the values and experiences needed for a holistic view of life.
